About Us

Christ Church Warwick, founded in 1719, is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland located in Warwick, Bermuda. Christ Church strives to be not only a church in the community, but a church for the community.  We want to live the gospel message in our outreach to individuals in need, in our programmes for young people, and as a place to spiritually renew regardless of your previous church affiliation. 

Worship is very much at the heart of the church’s life and Christ Church welcomes and hopes to be a blessing to all who walk through our doors.

OUTREACH PROGRAMMES

The Church of Scotland has a deep concern for the wholeness and well-being of each individual.

With this in mind, Christ Church has developed some wonderful outreach programs to help those here and abroad. As a church, it is our mission to not just spread of the word of the Lord, but to follow in his example helping those in need, selflessly and with generosity. We are grateful to be in a position to help, and it is an important doctrine of the church to help those who are in need.

Feeding Programme

 

 

 

The Feeding Programme started in March 2020 in response to Covid and the hundreds of people in need of food. Now 4 ½ years later we have served over 230,000 meals to homeless, needy families, and a number of school children attending Purvis and Paget Primary schools who go to school hungry and don’t even have a lunch.

The Outreach Programme of our church has made an impact on the whole island.  Meals are served Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. On Saturday mornings we provide breakfast as well as laundry facilities and then later lunch.  We only deliver food to schools and a few specifically identified locations (such as Harmony Hall) and a few residences where they are unable to come to the church. We also continue our meal support to HOME and a few smaller groups.  A large number of meals are collected at the church kitchen.

LOADS OF LOVE

Loads of Love has been in operation for more than ten years. Every Saturday morning from 8:00 am to 10:30 am, we offer laundry services plus a shower and breakfast to the homeless.

Bermuda Overseas Mission (BOM)

Founded in 2003 by David Thompson, Doug Frith and Allan Garrity (Minister 1999 – 2008), BOM has been providing the people of Bermuda, particularly youth, an opportunity to make a positive impact both locally and globally, through implementing sustainable solutions to global needs such as housing, clean water and access to education.
